Hey everyone! I’m just an everyday PUBG player, and with 2026 already here, I’ve been scrolling through my locker and thinking about some of my favorite cosmetic pickups from the past couple of years. The December 2024 Store update still stands out to me because it stacked holiday flavor, tactical fashion, and a few surprisingly useful goodies all into one patch. Even though the original sales windows have closed, I keep seeing reminders in-game through the Workshop, Your Shop, and other events—so I want to break down what that update brought and why it’s still worth knowing about.
❄️ Survivor Pass: Let It Snow

The headline item for me was the Survivor Pass: Let It Snow. PUBG loves a seasonal pass, and this one leaned fully into the snowy, holiday vibe. The tagline said to "sleigh your enemies in style," which is exactly the kind of pun I expect from the store team. On PC it ran from December 4 after live server maintenance until January 1, 2025 at 00:00. On console, it started a bit later on December 12 and ran until January 9, 2025. I spent a good chunk of that winter grinding missions for pass rewards, and I still see some of those winter cosmetics popping up in my rotation today.
🧹 At Your Service Collection

Next up was the At Your Service collection, which gave us maid and butler looks. It sounds silly, but these costumes were designed to "serve and protect" while still meaning business on the Battlegrounds. The PC availability began December 18 at 02:00 and lasted all the way until September 10, 2025 at 00:00. Console players got it from December 26 at 02:00 to September 18, 2025 at 00:00. Because these were tied to Contraband Crates, I remember checking the Hideout - Contraband - More Details - Probability to acquire page more often than I’d like to admit. That long sale window meant you had plenty of chances, but RNG could still be brutal.
💨 Colored Smoke Grenades: Magenta and Emerald

This was one of the more interesting tactical-cosmetic drops. The announcement described them as red and green to bring holiday joy, but the actual names were Magenta Smoke Grenade and Emerald Smoke Grenade. I always find that little naming quirk funny. These colorful smoke skins made squad fights feel a little more festive, even when you were getting third-partied. On PC they were available from December 4 after maintenance to May 14, 2025 at 00:00. On console, the window ran from December 12 to May 22, 2025 at 00:00. There was also a nice bonus: the Contraband Crate (Open 10) offered a 50% discount for your first purchase. That discount definitely tempted me into spending some G-COIN.
Here’s a quick date table for the grenade skins:
| Item | Platform | Start | End |
|---|---|---|---|
| Colored Smoke Grenades | PC | December 4, after live server maintenance | May 14, 2025, 00:00 |
| Colored Smoke Grenades | Console | December 12, after live server maintenance | May 22, 2025, 00:00 |
🎷 Legendary Saxophone Dance

The Legendary Saxophone Dance was another standout. The promo said you could "take over the stage with the legendary saxophone rhythm" and become the MVP wherever you go. It was exactly the kind of emote I used after a clutch chicken dinner to annoy my squadmates in the best way. PC had it from December 4 after maintenance until January 3, 2025 at 00:00. Console players could grab it from December 12 after maintenance until January 11, 2025 at 00:00.
🦆 B.DUCK Collaboration

I can’t forget the B.DUCK collaboration. It was billed as "the waddling adventure returns to the Battlegrounds," and the crossover leaned hard into cute duck energy. On PC, it went live December 11 at 02:00 and stayed until March 5, 2025 at 00:00. Console got it from December 12 after maintenance to March 6, 2025 at 00:00. Items like this are great because they give the game a lighthearted break from all the tactical mil-sim action.
🏠 Winter Hideout Custom Lobby Skin

Finally, the Winter Hideout Custom Lobby skin arrived. This one featured white snowflakes and gave the lobby a cozy seasonal makeover. It went on permanent sale starting with the December update on PC after December 4 maintenance and on console after December 12 maintenance. I love permanent additions like this because there’s no FOMO pressure—you can pick it up whenever you want, even years later.
🔁 What This Means in 2026
Since we’re now in 2026, the original sales periods for most of these items are long over. However, PUBG often brings back cosmetic items through the Workshop, Your Shop, in-game events, and promotions. So if you missed the Survivor Pass: Let It Snow or the At Your Service collection, keep an eye out. I’ve personally seen some of these old store pieces return as personal shop recommendations, and they still hold up visually. Whether you’re tossing an emerald smoke grenade or showing off the saxophone dance in the lobby, the December 2024 drop left a fun mark on the game.
Happy shopping out there, and I’ll see you on the Battlegrounds!
